- 7.3 out of every 100 adults in Ohio has diabetes, ranking it 13th in the nation for the ratio of people with diabetes to the general population.
- 31.7 out of every adult 100,000 deaths in Ohio are due to diabetes, ranking Ohio 7th highest in the nation for diabetes-related deaths.
- In 2005, 669,000 Ohio adults were diagnosed with diabetes and by 2007, 10% of the total adult population had been diagnosed with diabetes.
